My children have been given so many gifts in this life. They are smart, healthy, beautiful kids. A goal of mine as one of their guides in their life, is to help them see how many opportunities they have and to support the roads they decide to go down. My hope with this trip is that my children walk away with more knowledge about children of the world then they had before I left. And just hopefully, I will leave a little imprint on their hearts about the responsibility that we have as humans to take care of others here on earth.

My Kids
Before I take off to Uganda, and post several pictures of kids half way around the world, I wanted to post some pics of my kids that will be staying back home. I look at these photos and am reminded of how amazing and beautiful each and every one of them are. Ryan, our boy, is incredibly intelligent and coordinated. This one has the opportunity to do what ever he wants in this world. Ellie, full of spice and everything nice, when you hang out with this child you forget that she is 7. She is well beyond her years in all ways. Ashley, if you look up the name Ashley Stevenson in the dictionary, it means responsible. Okay, maybe not really, but she truly is the most responsible person in the house (that goes for the adults too). Life comes easy for this one. Quincy, still has a "little girl" side to her, we love it. If nobody is looking, you can catch her watching an episode of Dora and playing with babies. She is sweet and innocent. We hope to keep her this way as long as we can. Peyton, our child with a love for music and being creative, has been given many talents. She has such a fun sense of humor. We laugh a lot with this one.
